With all that is going on in our world today I've been motivated to find ways that we can support and create a community of change.
Food Empowerment Project (FEP) is a catalyst for advancement within our local black and brown low income communities and advocate equality for the underserved and less privileged.
By making a donation today you will be supporting...
- Veganism: promoting ethical, environmentally conscious choices through education and outreach, providing tools such as newsletters and recipe books (in both English & Spanish).
- Access to Healthy Food: a fight for food justice considering the impact that racism has had on equal access to healthy foods, the importance that fresh fruits and vegetables have on one’s health and that communities of color lack access to.
- Farm Worker Rights: advancing the rights and fair treatment of farm workers by supporting corporate, legislative and regulatory changes.
- Environmental Racism: injustice in the food industry and understanding how our food choices contribute to environmental toxins that disproportionately burden black, Indigenous and brown communities.
