Will you help us get Eating Vegan in College published?

It’s back-to-school season, which means college students are returning to campuses across the country. As a supporter of Food Empowerment Project (F.E.P.), you may have heard about the “Eating Vegan in College” page we created for our website, which helps college students learn how to eat their ethics. Now we are turning this informative online resource into a full-color, 20-page printed guide!
"Literally perfect timing, moving into college in two weeks.”
—“Eating Vegan in College” page user
We understand that eating vegan while attending college can be a big challenge; in fact, it can be so difficult that a lot of students sadly find themselves not able to stick with it. Our new booklet is being designed with these students in mind! It will serve not only as a guide to eating more consciously but will be an ideal resource for students who want to grow their activism and better understand the layers of oppression that exist in the food system. It will even explain actions they can take on behalf of animals, humans, and the environment. And, of course, this will be an ideal piece of literature to start the veg-curious on their vegan journey!
Eating Vegan in College will also be a resource for clubs and organizations to offer to their members and their campus communities while tabling, at events, in dining halls, etc.
But we need to raise $5,000 to get it printed—will you help us?
Today’s college students have an unprecedented level of awareness around the ethical and environmental implications of our daily dietary choices. With college being a place for transformative experiences—a period for students to explore their passions and values—we want this transformation to include veganism, and we want to provide a resource for these students!
"Been needing something like this so badly."
—“Eating Vegan in College” page user
Resources like our Eating Vegan in College guide are made possible by our supporters; we could not offer them without you! Raising $5,000 will get 1,000 copies printed and help with the cost of mailing them.
Your contribution will ensure that F.E.P.’s vegan advocacy, education, and outreach work will have a remarkable impact on college students across the country.
With much appreciation,
The Food Empowerment Project Team
P.S. Every little bit will help us print Eating Vegan in College—and help college students go and stay vegan. Thank you!
